Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure will be reunited with former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers after joining Scottish champions Celtic on Sunday. Toure agreed a one-year contract to become Rodgers' latest signing since he took charge at Celtic earlier in the close-season. Rodgers also signed
Toure for Liverpool in 2013, following the centre-back's previous spells at Manchester City and Arsenal. Toure, 35, will thrive in the Scottish Premiership and be a big asset to Celtic, according to Rodgers. "I brought Kolo into Liverpool to add that bit of experience and help to the centre-halves there at the time," Rodgers told Celtic's website.
